There are so many ways to be disappointed and it can get so fucking exhausting.
And as much as we’d like to deal with our disappointment like a three-year-old and have a huge full blown, yelling, screaming tantrum on the floor, we do have to act somewhat like an adult.
Even though someone else probably won’t bring you a snack and tuck you into bed after you’ve chucked your wobbly, it doesn’t mean that you can’t do those things to help yourself deal with the disappointment.
You can always get off your ass and find the things that are going to help you feel better.
Find your adult version of a three year old tanty!
Whatever that is for you.
Whether it’s going for a drive and listening to really loud music so you can scream and yell and sing along. Or having some comfort food and then taking a nap. Do what you gotta do to get yourself out of that funk and feel better.
The point is, if you do not like what your Energy is doing, don’t sit and wallow in it for too long.
You know the rule, wallow hard, get it over and done with and then shift that shit!
Remember, you’re far too Awesome to let disappointment beat you. Dust off the shit, do what you need to do to feel good again and know that tomorrow is a brand new sparkly day.
