Big feelings can be really tiring.
Whether they are from all the heavy stuff going on in the world at the moment, or you’re experiencing something really significant and special in your life.
When you’ve got a lot on your plate and you’re being impacted by things beyond your usual comfort zone, acknowledge that it’s exhausting and try to get some rest when you can.
I get it! You can’t always have a nap in the middle of the day.
So make sure that when you are going to bed, you’re doing whatever it is you need to do to settle yourself properly and get some decent sleep.
Is it a cup of tea before bed? Or nothing to drink after 8pm?
No screens or reading a book on your phone? Hallway light on or complete black out in your bedroom?
There is no “right answer” to this.
Do what you know works for you.
If you don’t know what works (because shit changes, right?!?), be open to trying different methods until you find your bedtime groove.
An easy way to reset your Energy at any time is to find 5 minutes somewhere throughout your day and either lay on the floor (on your stomach or back) and focus all your attention on your body.
Even the aching parts!
Try and bring your Energy back to you and ground yourself just that little bit.
It really does make a difference.
When emotions are big and it feels like it’s all too hard, just remember it’s a wave of shitty Energy and it won’t last forever. Better things WILL come your way because there is always more Awesomeness ahead. Always!
