Why I Made My Oracle Cards Simple, Bold and Fucking Fun

Oracle cards don’t need to be complicated. When I first started playing around with the idea of creating my own, I knew they had to feel like me: straightforward, no-nonsense and a little bit cheeky. I wanted them to be a tool people could reach for when they needed clarity - not another source of confusion or fluff.
That’s how my decks were born: simple, bold and unapologetically fun. Let me take you behind the scenes of why I made them that way and what it means for the people who use them.

The Problem With Over-complication
When I first started exploring Oracle cards, I found a lot of them beautiful, but some were just too much. Overly wordy, overly spiritual or packed with verbal imagery that left me scratching my head. Instead of answers, I found myself with more questions.
That didn’t sit right with me. I knew there had to be another way - cards that didn’t take themselves so seriously, that could offer guidance without making you feel like you had to decode a cryptic message from The Universe.
Why Simplicity Matters
Life is already full of noise. When you’re stressed, anxious or seeking guidance, the last thing you need is to overthink. My goal was to create cards that cut through the crap and gave people something they could instantly connect with.
That’s why the messages on my cards are short and to the point. No need to interpret; no digging through guidebooks. Just pick a card, have a laugh, take a breath and shift your perspective whilst gaining clarity.
The Power of Bold Design

When I first started thinking about the artwork, I got stuck. I thought I needed intricate illustrations - something “worthy” of an Oracle deck. But every time I tried to envision it, I hit a creative wall. Nothing felt right.
Then it clicked: the beauty of these decks isn’t in elaborate artwork; it’s in the Energy they carry. Bright, bold and vibrant colours felt far more aligned with the kind of Energy I wanted to bring to the world. The designs needed to support the messages, not overshadow them.
So, I chose abstract patterns and colours that pop - designs that feel modern, fresh and playful. They’re a visual reminder that spirituality doesn’t have to be heavy or dull.
Why Fun Is Non-Negotiable
If there’s one thing I want people to feel when they use my decks, it’s joy. Laughter is such a powerful healer and I think we forget that sometimes.
Life is serious enough. My cards were designed to remind people not to take things (or themselves) so bloody seriously. They poke a bit of fun, they lighten the mood and they help you move forward with clarity and a smile.
Making Oracle Cards Accessible
One of my biggest priorities was making my decks beginner-friendly. A lot of people are curious about Oracle cards but feel intimidated by the “woo woo” side of things. I wanted my decks to be approachable - something anyone could pick up and use, no matter their experience level or beliefs.
These aren’t cards for “experts” or people steeped in spirituality (although they love them too!). They’re for anyone who needs a moment of guidance, a dose of fun or a reason to laugh.
The Result: Simple, Bold and Fucking Fun

What I’ve created isn’t your average Oracle deck and I wouldn’t have it any other way. These cards are a reflection of who I am: straight-talking, down-to-earth and always up for a laugh.
They’re for the people who don’t want the fluff, who just need a straight answer - or a kick up the arse. They’re for beginners dipping their toes into the world of Oracle cards and seasoned readers who want something a bit different.
